INFORMATION: Apple Power Adapters Recall
Please be advised that Apple have issued a product recall for power adapters citing potential electric shock hazards.
This affects owners of Apple Laptops, iPads, iPhones manufactured between 2003 and 2015 (which is almost all Apple Portable Devices around at the moment.)
The image below details how to identify the affected models of power adapters. An affected wall plug adapter has 4 or 5 characters or no characters on the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter.
In the interest of safety Oakhill ICT will happily exchange ALL affected parts, regardless of where the device was purchased. Simply bring your affected part into the Helpdesk and it will be swapped for a new part free of charge. This also applies to devices owned by members of your family.
Alternatively, you can also attend any Apple Store and do the same.
